Why
libre.
Good type should survive beyond a licence server. The OFL lets a face travel with the work, across tools and years.
Open sources make the decisions visible. Curves, spacing and interpolation become material for study, not trade secrets.
Freedom is reciprocal. Fix a glyph. Add a language. Send the work upstream. A font can improve after release.
