Libre, not ownerless.

A libre foundry treats distribution as part of type design. It keeps files available, credits intact and specimens useful. Verso did not draw these faces. Stephen Nixon, Phaedra Charles, Flavia Zimbardi, Mathieu Triay, Rodrigo Fuenzalida and Jordan Egstad did.

Our part is editorial: test the counters, show the range, state the licence without fog.

You may use these fonts in personal and commercial work. You may copy them, bundle them with software, study their sources, modify them and redistribute your modified versions.

You may not sell the font files by themselves. You must keep the licence and copyright notices with redistributed fonts. Modified versions may need a new family name when the original reserves its name. The fonts stay under the OFL; documents and images made with them do not inherit that licence.

Start with the original project, not this specimen. Reproduce the issue. Check existing reports. Then submit a small, explained change: an interpolation fault, a missing mark, a spacing correction. Upstream is where maintenance becomes shared.

This site is set in Bricolage Grotesque and JetBrains Mono, with Instrument Sans for running text. Every font file is served locally. The site uses plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
